Children are most precious to us! That’s why we want to value the children’s ministry in the Metanoia Church. We want to do our best, as church and family, for our children to live changed lives.
We live in a world lost in darkness because of the sin. We believe that kids too are affected by the darkness of the sin in their lives and we believe that the words of the Lord Jesus Christ are true in children’s lives too.

The Lord Jesus welcomed the children and that’s why today we have the duty to teach them about The Light of the world and to help them to get out of the darkness and follow the Light of life. From a very young age children are capable of understanding the message of redemption and able to take the decision to live a changed life, a life in the light of Christ.

1. STARS (age 2-3 years) - Just as God “counts the number of the stars; He calls them all by their names” (Psalm 147:4), He knows the name of every single child in this group. They all have value in His eyes, even if they are the youngest.

2. FIREFLIES (4-7) – small flies that shine all night having their own light, fireflies have a very special light that amazes us. The same way, children in this group can be an amazing testimony in this world.

3. CANDLES (7-8) – There are a lot of strange changes in the lives of the children in this group. We want to help them be among those who are wise and whose candle light would never turn off.

4. LANTERNS (9-10) – Lanterns have changed the cities when they spread all over the streets years ago. We want to raise children who have the light of Christ in them and make a difference wherever they are. They can be this kind of people!

5. TORCHES (11-12) – The burning torches (Luke 12:35) are the sign of watching in a dark world. We want to help our children have a strong testimony willing to stay awake in a world that fights to win them for itself.

6. COMETS (13-14) – “Stars with tame” that have an amazing light and charm. They travel throughout Universe hundreds of years and can be seen from Terra only once in tenth of years. Their shape and light depends on how far they are from the Sun; the closer they are the stronger and more fascinating their reflected light is. We want this generation to strongly reflect the light of Christ.
